Archive Footage

What a rare find these three clips were to come across! The first is from a Bily Graham Crusade at the Los Angeles Coliseum, April 1963. The second is from The Johnny Cash Show, Stuart sings "This Ole House" back on February 21, 1971.

The third clip is in two parts, from The Jimmy Dean Show which aired on October 11, 1963. These two videos in particular give a good representation of Stuart Hamblen, the entertainer.

Videos

Here are two videos of Stuart's songs that are cult-classics on YouTube. The first is Hardrock, Coco & Joe (also known as, Three Little Dwarfs) and premiered on WGN-TV in Chicago, on the "Bozo the Clown" show, December 18, 1956. The second is Open Up Your Heart (and Let the Sun Shine In), which was on Hanna-Barbara's cartoon, The Flintstones, and sung by Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm on the "No Biz Like Show Biz" episode, which aired September 17,1965. This clip was sometimes also played during the closing credits in the show's final season (1965-1966).
